Congratulations to the East Union League of Legends team on a great season. The Esports team earned a #5 seed making them eligible to attend and participate in the IAHSEA Spring Showdown 2024 in Marshalltown.
On Wednesday, May 15th, the team members Kade W., Lundy S., Titus S., Caden C. and Cameron H. along with Coach Paup, traveled to Marshalltown for a 9 a.m. match-up with the #4 seed, Green County. The EU Esports team started the day by winning their first match with two back-to-back games in the First Round against Green County. EU then proceeded into Round Two against #1 seed, Osage. Unfortunately, the team lost this match with two well fought back-to-back losses. The team was then moved from the Championship bracket to the Consolation bracket where they advanced to face the Waterloo East Esports team in Round Three. Waterloo East over-powered the EU team with two back-to-back wins sending EU home with a day of full memories and an experience with great LoL challengers.
