The East Union Energizers went to Des Moines on Thursday and came home with some hardware! The girls competed at the State Drill Team Competition and received a Division 1 rating in BOTH their Pom Routine and Novelty Routine! Good work ladies!
The Eagle Wrestlers will be headed to Harlan for the Dan Hill Invitational tomorrow! Coverage can be streamed through https://www.fmctc.com/harlan-schools
Of note, this is a Harlan broadcast, so most of the coverage may be centered around the Harlan wrestlers, but they will try to get as many others as possible.

Eagle Basketball gets started tonight! JH Girls, Boys, and Varsity Girls host Diagonal. Then, the Varsity Boys will host West Central Valley! The Eagle Energizers will also be performing at half-time of the Boys game! Come on out for a full evening of Eagle Basketball!
The HWY 34 Girls will be in action tonight, at Interstate 35, in Truro! Of note, admission will be $6, cash only at the door.

No plans for a Tuesday night? No problem! Come out to East Union and meet our High School Winter teams! The EU Booster Club will be sponsoring a Chili Super for $5! You'll then have a chance to meet our High School Pep Band, Cheerleaders, Archers, Basketball players, and Wrestlers! Each program introduce themselves and some will even put on a short show for everyone! Come on out tomorrow night, Chili is served starting at 6 pm with activities beginning at 6:45!
Last night East Union opened up our basketball season with a scrimmage against Melcher Dallas. Both teams and crowd joined together to bring items needed for cheer boxes for families in need. The items were given to ASPIRE More.

Mr. Walsh's math for the trades class explores math in orthopedic surgery! Dr. William Ralston, Orthopedic Surgeon at Greater Regional Health showed the students x-rays as well as the hardware and tools used during surgery. It was a behind the scene look at math in the workplace!

Lundy designed this lightbulb apparatus from some spare parts donated by Cooley! Ms Anderson's class used it to test the electrical conductivity of different substances and solutions!
The Baking and Pastry Arts team of Hallie White and Mallory Waigand are showing off their culinary creativity! They baked and decorated this masterpiece. It is a Chocolate layer cake decorated with buttercream icing, chocolate ganache drip and Oreos! YUM! YUM! Beautiful!
